During this semester, our integrated project is all about DIB Coffee Of Hawaii Café.  Me and my group member went to the DIB café and met Ms Lanna ( manager of DIB ) and seven employees there with hearing loss.  Ms Lanna told us more story about this café and the people there. When I try to communicate with them by ordering a mash potato, it is quite hard for me to explain that I want a small size for it.  I feel that Ms Lanna is like a superwomen, she manage to communicate with them well and make sure the business run smoothly every day.

I had learnt lots of things in this integrated project.  For examples, some sign language, being patience to others and be proud and treasure what I have in my life.  The deaf person cannot live like a normal person, they need help and some people will not respect them.  I am lucky to have an able-bodied and have a normal life.

Besides, something that I love the most in this integrated project is it able me and my group members having good time together.  We get to know each other well and more communication between each other.  Some of my team member are not that good, but they willing to learn. In the panel discussion, me and my team members was trying to help each other to get more marks.  It was the first time that we having discussion like this, I had learnt to be more patience to them, speak to them nicely and try to help them on their weakness.

I think this is a good experience to me, it improved my leadership skills, communication skill, and being patience to the others.  I am so proud that I can study in Taylor University, and run this activities with my friends together.
